PINNACLE POWER SEMINARS
In this day and age, leaders are more “connected” than ever—yet many have lost the most important connection of all: the human one. In this Pinnacle Power Seminar, participants will learn about the neuro-psychology of leadership and how your brain and the brains of those on your team work for and against effective leadership.
Leveraging the strength of our relationships is perhaps the greatest measure of the quality of our lives and leadership. It is also a key predictor of our sense of internal joy and contentment. Our relationships should be the place where we act our best and give our best. Strong relationships are based on the willingness to be vulnerable, engendering trust.
This session will look at how cultural changes are driving fundamental ways EMS leaders manage, guide and operate their organizations. You will learn:
- How effective leaders engage their team’s brainpower
- How to flex the “change muscle” in your brain
- To use technology to support but not replace key human values
- To create a new paradigm for thinking, behaving and communicating within your organization
You’ll learn from a dream team of leadership educators, including Mike Taigman, FirstWatch Improvement Guide; David Nelson, DMin, Senior Associate, Fitch & Associates; Jim Marshall, MA, director of the 911 Training Institute; and Jim Lanier, MPA, Technical Services Director for the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, Gainesville, Florida.
