TAKING THE NATION’S PULSE: THE 2017 FITCH/EMS1 TREND REPORT

    VIEW DESCRIPTION

It’s always been difficult to answer the question: “How are we doing as an agency or as a profession?” Last year, the first-ever Fitch/EMS1 Trend Report described the current state of EMS in the nation by surveying nearly 100 diverse organizations about multiple aspects of their operations, finances, management and other areas. Now, with the report in its second year, we can see what trends are occurring in the profession, where we might expect to see EMS headed in the future, and how your own agency compares to the rest of the industry.

Greg Friese, MS, is Editor-in-Chief of EMS1.com, Catherine R. Counts is a doctoral candidate in the department of Global Health Management and Policy at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine,  and Anthony Minge, EdD, specializes in reimbursement and compliance as a partner at Fitch & Associates.
